Memoranda of Understanding

Shivaji College has signed Memoranda of Understanding with several institutions in the last five years, of which the prominent ones are those signed with the WDC Shivaji College. Apart from this, Shivaji College also attained the license to organize TEDx programme. An MoU was also signed between the DBT, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India, and Shivaji College. The details of the MoUs are as follows:

1. License for organizing TEDx Event at Shivaji College
   License Validity: June 30, 2020, to June 29, 2021
   Status: Event scheduled in January 2021
2. MoU between Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India, New Delhi, and Shivaji College
   Date of agreement: May 29, 2019
   Area of Collaboration: To provide fund over a period of three years w.e.f May 08, 2019, for con-ducting programmes aimed at “strengthening of Life Science and Biotechnology, Education and Training at Undergraduate level under Star College Scheme”
   Status: Ongoing
3. MoU between Srijanatmak Manushi Sanstha (SMS) and Women Development Cell, Shivaji College, for 2019-2020
   Date of agreement: October 31, 2019
   Area of collaboration: Collaboration in organizing events related to gender issues and women empowerment, and connect WDC to people working at the grass-root level
   Status: Ongoing
4. License for organizing TEDx Event at Shivaji College
   License Validity: June 18, 2019, to June 17, 2020
   Status: Completed

6. Statement of Intent between National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) and Shivaji College
   Date of agreement: May 24, 2018
   Area of collaboration: Collaboration in fostering entrepreneurial mindset among students by organis-ing events, by mentoring students, and by connecting students and faculty with investors, entrepre-neurs, and industry experts.
   Status: Completed
7. MoU between MenEngage Network, Delhi, and WDC, Shivaji College, during 2017-2018
   Date of agreement: April 28, 2017
   Area of collaboration: Collaboration in organizing WDC events related to gender issues, lec-tures, movie screening, media coverage, and promotion of event online.

8. MoU between Azad foundation and WDC, Shivaji College, during 2017-2018
   Area of collaboration: Collaboration in organizing WDC events related to gender based workshop, talks, movie screening, discussion sessions, and promotion of events online.

9. MoU between Nazariya Foundation, New Delhi, and WDC, Shivaji College, during 2016-2017
   Area of Collaboration: Collaboration in organizing gender-based workshop, conducting sem-inars and participating in panel discussion during the WDC gender fair, and online promotion of the event.

10. MoU between CFAR and WDC, Shivaji College, during 2016-2017
    Area of collaboration: Collaboration in WDC events by setting up stalls, conducting events based on gender equality, and promotion of events online.

11. MoU between India HIV/AIDS Alliance and WDC, Shivaji College, during 2016-2017
    Date of agreement: June 22, 2017
    Area of collaboration: Collaboration in organizing programmes highlighting social issues of women and gender binarism through workshop, lectures, movie screening, theatre, discus-sions, and promotion of events online.

    Area of collaboration: Collaboration in organizing gender-based programmes during the two days gender fair organized by the WDC, and promotion of the event online.
