Mission

  • The main objective of the Cell is to nurture research culture among the faculty members and students by encouraging them to pursue research-based activities in newly emerging and challenging areas.
  • To cultivate a dynamic research environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.
  • To provide mentorship and support for innovative research initiatives, guiding students and faculty in contributing impactful knowledge across diverse academic fields.
  • To bridge the gap between academic research and real-world applications, addressing societal, technological, and environmental challenges.
  • To create opportunities for partnerships with industries, academic institutions, and government bodies to enhance the scope and impact of research and innovation.
  • To facilitates and supports the faculty to undertake research projects from various funding agencies.

Objectives

  • Promote Research Culture:Encourage faculty and students to actively engage in research activities, fostering a strong research mindset within the college.
  • Facilitate Interdisciplinary Projects:Support and promote interdisciplinary research collaborations to address complex global and local issues through diverse academic perspectives.
  • Mentorship and Capacity Building:Provide training, workshops, and mentorship programs to enhance research skills, innovation practices, and professional development among faculty and students.
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship:Nurture innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit by providing platforms, resources, and support for translating research into practical and commercial applications.
  • Establish Research Collaborations:Build partnerships with external institutions, industries, and organizations to leverage resources, knowledge, and expertise, promoting collaborative research efforts.
  • Encourage Publication and Dissemination:Support faculty and students in publishing their research findings in reputable journals, conferences, and other academic platforms, ensuring their work contributes to the global body of knowledge.
  • Fundraising and Grants:Identify and secure funding opportunities from various governmental and non-governmental agencies, supporting research projects and innovation-driven initiatives within the college.
  • Promote Ethical Research:Ensure that all research conducted under the Cell adheres to the highest ethical standards, fostering integrity and responsibility in academic work.
