    The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Shivaji College was constituted in February 2015. Its core purpose is to nurture a systematic, consistent, and catalytic drive towards enhancing the college's overall performance.

      Objectives

      • Develop and apply quality benchmarks across academic, administrative, and financial functions.
      • Scrutinize departmental performance through detailed analysis of results, syllabus coverage, and timetable adherence.
      • Ensure timely corrective action following reviews and audits.
      • Facilitate efficient and progressive execution of all institutional tasks.
      • Establish organized systems for documentation and internal communication

      Functions / Mode of Operation

      • Constitutes committees to streamline academic, administrative, and financial processes.
      • Coordinates with faculty, students, and staff via meetings, informal interactions, and structured feedback mechanisms.
      • Conducts internal academic and administrative audits through audit committees.
      • Plans, implements, and evaluates quality-related initiatives.
      • Analyses stakeholder feedback and communicates outcomes to the concerned.
      • Encourages and supports staff in enhancing teaching, research, and administrative quality.
      • Prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and Self Study Report (SSR) for NAAC accreditation.
