About the Skill Development Centre (SDC)

Shivaji College has received a grant of Rs 8 lakh to set up the Skill Development Centre. Shivaji College’s Skill Development Centre provides students with in-demand, industry-relevant skills. Located in the modern Jijabai Academic Block with advanced computing resources. The SDC aligns with NEP 2020; it combines theoretical learning with practical, hands-on experience to prepare students for real-world problem-solving across various fields.

The Skill centre was inaugurated on November 4, 2025, by Shri Bharat Bhushan Arora ji, Director of Udhmodya Foundation and Bharat Prakashan, and Chief Patron of Samarth Bharat.
