The Department organised a National Seminar on Syncretism in Indian History Through the Ages on March 3-4, 2020, sponsored by the Indian Council of Historical Research. Eminent speakers like Prof Dilip K Chakrabarti and Prof Bhagwan Josh among many others delivered seminal lectures at the seminar. Colleagues from within the college and other colleges of the University of Delhi and other Universities also presented papers at the seminar.
The students and faculty members of the Department of History went for an educational excursion to the historical sites of Manas Museum, Taj-ul Masajid, Sanchi Stupa, Bhojeshwar Temple, Heliodorus Pillar, Bhimbetka, Udayagiri caves at Bhopal, Sanchi, Vidisha and Raisen in Madhya Pradesh from January 15-17, 2020.
Students of BA (H) History I, II and III year were taken to the National Museum for an academic tour on November 7, 2019.
