Admission to the first year of the following courses is made directly by the college:
- B.A. Programme
- B.A. (Honours) in Economics / Hindi / Sanskrit / Sociology / History / Political Science / Philosophy / English
- B. Com (Honours)
- B. Sc. Physical Sciences (Chemistry)
- B. Sc. Physical Sciences (Electronics)
- B. Sc. (Honours) in Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Mathematics / Statistics
Admission to the 1st year of the following courses is made through the respective faculties in the University of Delhi:
- B.A. (Honours) Music through Faculty of Music / Fine Arts
- M.A. through Faculty of Arts
- M.Sc. through Faculty of Science / Mathematical Sciences
- M. Com through Faculty of Commerce
Candidates desirous of seeking admission to any of the above mentioned courses need to first get themselves registered with the respective faculty. The college will then receive applications only from those candidates who have been registered by the concerned faculty.
No pre-admission from in any format (Physical or online) is required to be filled in by students for admission purposes. The college shall convey to the University the cut-off marks for the various courses (for the General and OBC categories), as per the schedule announced by the University. (Cut-off lists). After declaration of the cut-off lists by the University, the student will need to report to the college for admission within the stipulated period. At this stage, the student would be required to fill the college admission form and the University enrolment form. The student would then get his/her documents verified and pay the admission fees. In courses where admissions are done through entrance exams, separate procedures shall apply. For admission under the Sports and ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) categories, the college may use Sports/ECA application forms. These application forms shall be made available by the college from the date of announcement of the second cut-off-list.
The admission of the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, and the physically challenged candidates is done through the University of Delhi. Such candidates are therefore advised to refer to the Information Bulletin of the University for further details.
Students seeking admission on the basis of excellence in sports are required to apply on separate application forms available at the Sales Counter. Photocopies of the certificates giving details of the achievements should support such applications. Admissions under this category will be made as per the rules and procedures laid down by the University, and through a process of interviews and trials.
